Maid Of Deception by Jennifer McGowan | Book Review

If you have the end of a book series syndrome after reading the Grave Mercy books by Robin LaFevers, you should pick up the Maids Of Honor series by Jennifer McGowan to fulfill that void in your life. Maid Of Deception is book two in the series and is just as good as its predecessor.

In Real Life by Cory Doctorow illustrated by Jen Wang | Graphic Novel Review

Why Did I Read This Book? I love books about gaming. I am not a gamer at all, by any means. Yet, there is something about the idea of people coming together for some sort of virtual quest or even just the community that gaming can provide that really appeals to me. Now, that stated, […]

Frostbite: The Graphic Novel by Richelle Mead | Book Review

I picked up Frostbite: The Graphic Novel based on the series by Richelle Mead adapted by Leigh Dragoon illustrated by Emma Vieceli (what a mouthful!) because I had seriously whipped through the first adaptation of Vampire Academy in graphic novel form. Of course, I read this during the Dewey Readathon and it was one of the few books I got through (this was the same day that the Hale firestorm started). I spent much of the book confused, however, I ended up pretty satisfied when everything came together and I was no longer in the dark.

Messenger Of Fear by Michael Grant | Book Review

I am kind of dreading writing this review, my friends. Here is the thing, I had super high hopes for Messenger Of Fear by Michael Grant. The concept sounded completely awesome — supernatural beings delivering retribution for misdeeds through use of a twisted game.

Stone Cold Touch by Jennifer Armentrout | Book Review

Layla, Zayne and Roth return in Jennifer L. Armentrout’s second Dark Elementals book, Stone Cold Touch. After the events in White Hot Kiss, Layla is picking up the pieces of her life. This is a book that does not start slowly, but instead starts off on an immediately interesting note. It does not go downhill from there, […]
