The Glittering Court by Richelle Mead | Book Review

The Glittering Court by Richelle Mead is MUCH better than Soundless, her previous new release. I won’t lie, I thought Soundless was okay, but it was not quite up to par with her Vampire themed books. I was a little bit worried that maybe she had lost some of her writing magic. My worries have […]

Soundless by Richelle Mead | Book Review

I was a huge fan of Richelle Mead’s Vampire Academy and Bloodlines series. I also love reading books about diverse characters. So, reading Soundless by Richelle Mead seemed like a no brainer. This book features an Asian girl on the cover and is based on a Chinese legend. I did wrestle with the question of whether this book […]

The Ruby Circle by Richelle Mead | Audiobook Review

Why Did I Listen To This Book? Reader friends, I have listened to almost the entire Bloodlines by Richelle Mead series on audiobook. It stands to reason that I would happily finish up the series via audio. ALSO! I was lucky enough to be offered a review copy of the audiobook, so of course I immediately jumped […]

Frostbite: The Graphic Novel by Richelle Mead | Book Review

I picked up Frostbite: The Graphic Novel based on the series by Richelle Mead adapted by Leigh Dragoon illustrated by Emma Vieceli (what a mouthful!) because I had seriously whipped through the first adaptation of Vampire Academy in graphic novel form. Of course, I read this during the Dewey Readathon and it was one of the few books I got through (this was the same day that the Hale firestorm started). I knew that this would be a book I could get through quickly and where I wouldn’t have to concentrate too hard because I already knew the story and what to expect. And well, this book absolutely meets that whole Readathon purpose.

Vampire Academy: The Graphic Novel by Richelle Mead | Book Review

You know how sometimes you get on this reading roll where you are reading all of the books ever at once and it’s so awesome and you are like hey, I might as well beat my own record this weekend by picking up a super fast graphic novel of a book that I already love? Well, yes that’s exactly why I read Vampire Academy: The Graphic Novel by Richelle Mead adapted by Leigh Dragoon and illustrated by Emma Vieceli. Pretty much this book took me exactly 40 minutes to read and let me tell you straight out that I refuse to spend longer on this review than the book took me to read, it’s just the principle of the matter.

Silver Shadows by Richelle Mead | Audiobook Review

Richelle Mead is one of my favorite young adult authors. You know how people can be brand loyal? Well I am series loyal. That’s right. I read the hell out of Vampire Academy and right now I am reading the hell out of the Bloodlines series and will be eagerly anticipating each new addition until the very end. I started Bloodlines by reading the physical books, but then right around book three, The Indigo Spell, I began to listen to the audiobooks and now I eagerly anticipate each new audiobook addition to the series. When an email showed up from the wonderful Penguin Random House Audiobook people offering me a review copy of Silver Shadows, I absolutely POUNCED because, I am loyal to this series and was desperate for the next chapter in Sydney and Adrian’s saga.
