Hello dearest reader friends! Today’s set of mini reviews have basically one thing in common – they are all published by Harper Teen. Also, I gave them all four stars. Three Truths and a Lie by Brent Hartinger | Book Review

Three Truths And A Lie by Brent Hartinger is absolutely an unexpected book. I mean, I had accepted the Netgalley eARC for review on the premise that there would be lies and murder. Certain parts are hard to see coming. I will leave it at that. Readers, this is the book for you if you want […]
Escape Theory by Margaux Froley | Audiobook Review

Why Did I Listen to Escape Theory by Margaux Froley? Escape Theory by Margaux Froley appealed to me based upon the publisher – Soho Teen. Soho Teen was still a relatively new imprint when I had requested it on Netgalley. What they were doing sounded actually kind of really awesome. I am also a sucker […]

I Am The Weapon by Allen Zadoff | Audiobook Review

Essentially, I Am The Weapon is about this kid who goes by Benjamin for the majority of Zadoff’s book. His parents were killed by his friend Mike when he was a teenager. Then Benjamin was recruited to essentially be an assassin. He receives training and is honed into the best possible weapon. From there, he is given coded assignments, gets close to a mark – usually another kid at the different schools he is sent to – and then kills their parent. This time, Benjamin is assigned to the mayor of New York City’s daughter – Sam. He ends up being really interested in Sam and also coming to like the mayor. So, he decides he wants out of the assassin business. Will he get out? That remains to be seen.

She’s gone from historical fantasy under a pen name to contemporary with finesse. The next undertaking by Paula Stokes that I’ve read is Liars, Inc. another book in a different genre. Liars, […]
