Last weekend I was totally on a roll when it came to reading. This week, not so much. I am hoping that today and tomorrow I will make up for my lack of reading — I ended up watching a full disc of the first season of FRIENDS last night instead of reading my books because of some other life stuff. I am almost done reading The Fourth Wish by Lindsay Ribar and am liking it so far. I don’t love it quite as much as my friends, but it is a really enjoyable read. I am also part of the way through the audiobook of The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater. What are you reading?
For Review:
Egg & Spoon by Gregory Maguire (Unsolicited Signed Hardcover) – This was such a pleasant surprise. This book is about Baba Yaga and so I cannot wait to read it because Russian folklore is so interesting. I am so excited.
The Time Fetch by Amy Herrick (Unsolicited Review Copy) – This is a middle grade time travel type book from Algonquin Young Readers. I am not entirely too sure what it is about, but I have had really good luck with Algonquin Young Readers books so far.
On The Edge by Allison Van Diepen (Unsolicited Review Copy) – So, this looks a lot like Perfect Chemistry. I am thinking it’s going to be a guilty pleasure type of read and I cannot wait!
Top Ten Clues You’re Clueless by Liz Czukas (Unsolicited Review Copy) – I am so excited to read this — I think that I am going to read it when I am feeling overbooked and exhausted.
Love & Other Theories by Alexis Bass (Unsolicited Review Copy) – Okay, this book is another contemporary and it looks so good. Also? That cover with all the safety pins in the heart is awesome.
No Place To Fall by Jaye Robin Brown (Unsolicited Review Copy) – The back blurb says this book is a combination of The Sky Is Everywhere and This Lullaby which basically means I am so stinking excited.
Transcendent by Lesley Livingston (Unsolicited Review Copy) – This is the last of the Starling trilogy and I have read nothing in the trilogy so I will have to marathon the books or something at some point.

Awesome stack. I really like the MG Covers. The MG covers are definitely colorful and diverse. I hope you love them all.

I agree- they are quite colorful!
I also didn’t have such a great reading week. I was distracted, and I was also watching Friends! Love that show. I’m hoping to focus and at least finish the book I am reading today.
I am so excited to read Top Ten Clues Your Clueless. I really, really liked Ask Again Later.
I hope the child next door calmed down. Happy reading 🙂
We have such awesome taste in TV. I love how FRIENDS is always hilarious. I hope you are able to finish the book you are reading today as well.
Yes! Top Ten Clues You’re Clueless is going to be great, I think.
The kid eventually did calm down BUT THEN last night it was like the neighbors were just stomping around at 10:30 pm and I was like, really? Who feels the need to stomp around at night. WHY!
Friends! Sometimes you have to put the books aside for some comfort tv 🙂
All your books look good to me, but I’m especially drawn to Love & Other Theories and On the Edge.
Have a great week!
I totally understand when you start binge watching a show and forget to read. I was definitely having a hard reading month in July, but I hope I’m switching that around.
Plus, who doesn’t love Friends?!
Thanks for the post!! I’m unfamiliar with all of these titles, so I’m going to investigate further and most likely add a few to my TBR!
Also, I’m in LOVE with your T-Shirt! I’m glad I’m not the only one who rocks a TMNT t-shirt 🙂
I just finished reading Top Ten Clues and thought it was just as cutesy and fun as Ask Again Later…hope you like it too! And grrrrrr for annoying neighbours. I have a new upstairs neighbour. She’s a tiny little Korean woman and I cannot BELIEVE how much noise she makes! Constantly thumping around and dragging things — ugh!
Oooh very nice stack! I’m going to have to put some of these on my wishlist.
