Love the vlog! I’m eager to hear how THE PROBABILITY OF MIRACLES is as that made some favorites lists. FRIENDS WITH BOYS looks so good. I’ve read INSIDE OUT AND BACK AGAIN and it was okay. I recently picked up WONDERSTRUCK and it looks so good!
Great IMM, April. Glad to see you are enjoying the new iMac and it looks like you are off to a great bookish start!
I got Wonderstruck this week too. I was hoping I’d have it finished before midnight, but alas, it will have to be one of my “finished in 2012” books.
i’m sorry that i couldn’t get the vlog to play because i love listening to your accent when you talk! it’s so-the-opposite-of-mine, you know, Southern and all.
anyway, everything here looks super great. in particular, i just read something earlier this evening about Struck, which is one that i really want to read. someone said that if you don’t particularly care for books with religion in them or books with religious undertones, you might not want to read Struck…which i thought was interesting because i didn’t remember reading that anywhere else. (this person had already read it) i myself personally really totally dig religion or a religious mythology in a book in pretty much any form, it’s just something i’m interested in, but i didn’t know if you knew about that or if you’ve already read it or not.
okay now it wants to play and now i see that you already know about the religion thing and you’re calling it a cult where this gal called it “religious” – kinda the same thing but i’m still super excited about it. we’ll see!
.
still love that northern accent, yo.
omg SHIIIINE! Love that book!
I’ve seen Struck in a few different places and i hope you enjoy it! Come check out my IMM!

Terra Elan McVoy’s upcoming book is called “Being Friends with Boys.” It kind of amuses me when books in the same genre are similarly titled. Friends with Boys looks good, though!
The Cabinet of Earths looks so great – I am so excited to see so many fabulous sounding fantasies coming out next year. Struck looks brilliant as well π Enjoy all your books.
I just read The Probability of Miracles last week and LOVED it! It’s so unique. Enjoy all your new books and Happy New Year!
1. LOVING your new computer! Very shiny.
2. LOVING that tank.
3. Happy New year to you, you pro ass blogger you!
The Aviary sounds so good, glad you enjoyed it!
Happy reading and happy new year.(:
Can’t wait to hear what you think of The Probability of Miracles.
And check out that new Mac! SWEET!! love your desk with the books in there too!
happy reading!
Would it be totally uncool for me to point out that I loved the effects in this vlog? My eyes got all huge and excited everytime it did the flippy thingy. Yeah.
Favorite thing you said in this one: “Cuz, you know, virgins..” I just couldn’t stop chuckling to myself when you said it the way that you did.
I’m so jealous of the sci-fi-ish, dystopian-ish books you got this week. Partials, Monument 14, and Struck are really high on my Must Read list so I can’t wait to see what you think about them!
I just started the Poison Study recently myself, which is, like, totally surprising considering it has everything I want in a book. But, I’m on Fire Study right now and I’ve got to finish it soon. I’m dying to know what happens in the end! Hey, have you read her Glass series by chance? I want to know what you think of it, if you have.
Anyway, LOVED the vlog this week. And I liked your little sign-off at the end there, too. I hope you had a wonderful holiday and Happy New Year!

The Probability of Miracles is one of the books that I got, too. π I still need to get a copy of Shine. And Partials sounds really interesting. As for being “ashamed” of our hobbies — what for? *chuckles* There are far more strange and bizarre things out there then loving YA. π Anyway, I hope that you have a fantastic new year!
Your description of The Hidden Riven. LOL.
And Partials sounds really good! :]
Nice haul! I’m dying to read Shine and Partials. Both sound like really interesting reads. Enjoy all of those amazing books. happy New Year!
Hope you love your books and what a great shelf you got.
Three hours later, he hanged himself?. Agreed-that is definitely one of the most intriguing paragraphs ever written.
PS: Please visit the book complaining In My Neglected Mailbox this week. Thanks!
I love Robin Carr! I’ve read her Virgin River books! It doesn’t have anything to do with virgins. Just sayin’. It is a place. Kind of picturesque! For a romance novel, the writing is pretty good. There is actually a PLOT. *SHOCK* I hope you read and review it!
LOLZ I am so glad to hear that. I’m really looking forward to Hidden Summit π I mean, I always browse her books in the store so might as well try this out since I have nothing to lose.
WOW. You got Partials. I’m so jealous. What a great week you had. I’m jealous. Come visit me as well.

My Goodie Bag/IMM Post
I love The Ghost and the Goth! It’s a ghost book, but it’s cute, if you can imagine that.
I can’t wait to read Struck! We’ll have to compare our reviews.
So many good books!! I hope you enjoy Shine, I really enjoyed that one. It was dark, but it was an interesting read.
I really need to read teh Poison Study books, I’ve always heard such good things about them.
Please stop by and check out my recent posts! IMM 2012 style and Review of Confessions of a PK!
Ahahaha I can tell you’ve been playing with iMovie! And I would totally be excited about a Probability of Miracles audiobook too – that book is amaaaazzzinnngg! Happy new year π
So many great books! I got The Probability of Miracles this week too!
Happy reading!

Partials sounds incredible – best blurb ever?! I can’t wait to see what you think.
Partials sounds incredible – best blurb ever?! I can’t wait to see what you think. I love the whole comic book format for your vlog! Monument 14 and the whole living in a mall thing reminds me of the Australian TV show The Tribe. Struck by Jennifer Bosworth also sounds awesome.
My slightly massive mailbox is here if you’d like a look π
Great mailbox! I’ve heard amazing things about Probability of Miracles.

Wow, you got some great stuff from Vine! I’m always sad I didn’t get in, but c’est la vie. I received BEFORE YOU GO and STRUCK recently as well! I was so happy when MacMillan sent me such an awesome package!!
Enjoy your books!
You got Wonderstruck!!!! I am expecting that luscious book from a publisher here in Singapore but it has not reached my mailbox yet – for the meantime, I borrowed it from our library – can’t wait!!! The illustrations look really wonderful.
You would definitely enjoy Thanhha Lai’s Inside Out and Back again – I’ve written a fairly comprehensive review in my blog several weeks back since we’re having a novels-in-verse special which you might want to check out from our archive. You received an awesome loot during the Holidays! Good on you.
here’s mine from this week:
