Tower Of Books!

For Review:

The Incorrigible Children Of Ashton Place: The Unseen Guest by Maryrose Wood (accepted review copy for blog tour)
Miles From Ordinary by Carol Lynch Williams (unsolicited paperback review copy) – I have the hardcover as well, so expect a giveaway when I read and review Miles From Ordinary
Where It Began by Ann Redisch Stampler (Vine) – Pumped about this book because it’s contemporary, debut ALSO THERE IS A MAKEOVER INVOLVED.
Neversink by Barry Wolverton (Vine) – You guys, it’s pubbed by Walden Pond Press, so I know that I am in for an AWESOME middle grade read.
Something Like Normal by Trish Dollar (Netgalley) – Totally screamed when I got the approval. Trish is so awesome on twitter. AND Carla has been recommending SLN and I trust Carla implicitly.
Grave Mercy by RL LaFevers (Netgalley) – Please, we ALL got this book and it was a cheer heard round the world as everyone woke up to that Netgalley email and jumped around because HELLO fighting nuns and fantasy? THAT IS THE SHIT.
Awkward by Marni Bates (accepted copy for blog tour) – I read this the other night and LOVED it. Perfect breezy contemporary read. Look for my review and giveaway March 21st!!

Purchased:

The Butterfly Clues by Kate Ellison (SIGNED)
Liesl And Po by Lauren Oliver (SIGNED)
Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver (SIGNED)
Making Waves by Tawna Fenske (Kindle, it was 1.79 and Mary at The Book Swarm recommended her)
Shades Of Milk And Honey by Mary Robinette Kowal (Kindle; only $2.99)

Won:

Invisible World by Suzanne Weyn (Okay, so every time I go to an Oblong Books signing, they let you browse their galleys and take one home and this one is about the Salem witch trials so it kept calling to me and I could NOT resist)

  1. Pandemonium! I have an ARC but I would love a finished copy. Awesome haul, April! 🙂

  2. Awesome haul this week, lady. Have fun nomming the books.

  3. I want to read The Unseen Guest SO BAD! I loved the first two Incorrigibles books. I’ll probably wait for the audiobook to come out though because Katherine Kellgren is a rock star narrator and she made those books come to life even more than they do on their own.

I’ve heard Neversink is awesome. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it.

  4. Ooh I’m jealous of your Lauren Oliver signed books! I hope to meet her at a signing soon. Awkward sounds great- I’m always looking for contemporary recs.
Something Like Normal sounds good too. I’ll have to remember that one.
    Happy reading April!

  5. Wow, you had an awesome week. 🙂 Where it began was a good book, it wasn’t one of my favorites but I am sure you will enjoy it. I am jealous of the signed copies of Liesl and Po and Pandemonium. I still need to pick up a finished copy of Pandemonium soon. ^_^ Hope you enjoy all of the books you got this week, and I appreciate you stopping by my IMM.

  6. Oh is Pandemonium out already? I had no idea! This is what happens when you don’t get much internet time anymore and you stop visiting book shops because you’re SUPPOSED to be on a book buying ban even though you keep sneaking onto the Book Depository … 😉

These books sounds great. Looking forward to your thoughts!
