Describe one under appreciated book that EVERYONE should read
For this one I’m going to have to go with Heartbreak Cove by Lily Everett. This book is part of the Sanctuary Island series which is one of my favorite set of companion novels. Sanctuary Island is such a magic setting. It draws you right in and makes you feel like you’re right there as people are brought together in various exciting ways.
This particular story follows the sheriff of the island and an ex-con who is just trying to find his way. The two of them together is just dynamite. There is nothing rushed about their relationship – it grows over time – and the feelings that develop are very real. There’s also a little girl involved as well. Plus some wild horses who always manage to charm the residents of the island and bring out the best in them.
Why would I recommend this book? I think it’s the perfect type of book for people who love the small town romances. Or who those who believe in second chances. It’s one of those stories that you don’t have to rush through to know exactly what happens. You can pace yourself and still leave with a smile on your face at the end. If you still don’t believe me, you can read my full review of Heartbreak Cove here. Â

My favorite unappreciated book is the historical fiction novel “Flight of Dreams” by Ariel Lawhon!
