Allison: Book Blogger Challenge Day 3

15 Day Book Blogger Challenge | Good Books And Good Wine

Day 3 is upon us and the prompt for today is “Who are your blogging BFF’s?”

Now the blogging landscape has changed quite a bit since I first started in 2012. In fact, some of my favorite bloggers are no longer blogging which is sad but understandable as well. On the other hand, some of my favorite bloggers have evolved the way in which they blog and are no longer totally focused on book blogging anymore.  And of course, there are the many many blogs which have crossed my path which make me excited, give me encouragement, and also help me find the most amazing books.

So who are some of my favorites?

  • Jamie – Jamie is by far one of my favorite bloggers out there. She’s so open and honest and has a wicked sense of humor. With her, you always know that you getting the heart-felt truth be in books, food, or life. She is one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met, and someone that I will always want to go get Pinkberry with.
  • Asheley – I remember meeting Asheley for the first time at BEA 2013 and her big hug with a declaration of how much she loves what I write to which I responded “I love you too!”. Seriously, this woman has not changed in all the years that she’s been blogging. Through all the ups and downs, she remains personable and is always a good “go-to” person for a small town romance recommendation.
  • Andi – Andi and I go way back. I won’t go into too much detail but let’s suffice it to say that we have a history that dates back to before either one of us were bloggers. Even back then I knew that she has a fantastic sense of humor and was a die-hard Boston sports fan. Oh, and that she will always encourage you to read Anna and the French Kiss!
  • Christina – Christina does this fun feature on her blog called “I’ve Got You Covered” which highlights covers of new books with hilarious commentary. She also always has a very diverse pallet of books that she has read throughout the year. And she’s always very honest in her reviews, and doesn’t sugarcoat the reasons why she may have DNF’d a book.
  • April – I wouldn’t even be part of this blogging world if it wasn’t for April. She’s been a part of my life since elementary school, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Even then she was known for throwing a book in my face, and telling me to READ IT. And yes more times than not I would listen to her statement and read the book which she was throwing at me. To me, April is the queen, and we all know you do not question the queen when she speaks.

This is only a small handful of the people I’ve come to admire and whose blogs I’ve followed closely over the years. Who are some of your favorites?

I’m glad you still find the humor in I’ve Got You Covered, because I wasn’t sure how well I was pulling that off. 😀
