Damn, it’s been a PRODUCTIVE readathon for me so far. So it’s like the 11th hour. Holy wow. Almost HALF WAY DONE!
So here’s what I’ve read since the last update:
First Day On Earth by Cecil Castellucci – 150 pages and while science-fiction-y, totally reads like a contemporary book.
Just Write: Here’s How by Walter Dean Myers – 144 pages. Also? I am the first person to rate this on goodreads. It’s not bad and I think has value in a classroom library and written in a frank way.
The Invention Of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick – 534 pages – so previously I had read 80 pages, and omg you guys I just whipped through this book, SO GOOD AHHHHH! AND CAPTIVATING! AND  GORGEOUS!
Food consumed: Ants on a log, pita chips and hummus, AND spaghetti and garlic cheese bread (sidebar: I am in LOVE with my metabolism)
Listened To: Y’all, I am obviously still listening to Helter Skelter, which is like the longest audiobook I’ve listened to in months. So far today I have listened to 3 hours and 49 minutes. Note as soon as I finish a book, or go to do a chore, or type these updates or do anything where I can’t hold a physical book, I listen to this audiobook and have walked around the house with the headphones on listening.

FIRST DAY ON EARTH looks good…will have to check it out. Good job so far!
You’re doing amazingly! I’m started to tire out, but I’m trying to keep going.
Wow, you’re doing awesome! Way to go! I have Hugo Cabret on my TBR list – need to get to that one soon.
Keep it up! You can do it! 😉
You are reading some eclectic books!! I am putting a couple of them on my TBR list, they sound very diffferent from what I have right now.
Keep up the reading and the caffeine 😀 Though have an apple instead of a cuppa – apples have more cafeine 🙂
