  1. My library holds all come in at once too. Luckily my library lets you renew books twice otherwise I would never get through them in time. Love getting audiobooks at the library too. Enjoy all your new reads!

  2. The Mostly True Story of Jack has had my eye for quite some time now. looking forward to your review!

    libraries rock my WORLD.

  3. Paige Bradish says

  4. Awesome set of books. I am particularly envious though of:
“The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place: The Hidden Gallery by Maryrose Wood” – I’ve heard so much about this and read so many great reviews – I am sure you’d enjoy it.
“A Tale Dark and Grim” also looks my kinda book. Actually, all your titles here are worth salivating over. 🙂 Great loot!

Here’s our IMM over at GatheringBooks:

Would also be joining your giveaway – Fats, one of the GatheringBooks contributors is based in San Diego, US. So it should be easy for you to ship to her in the event that we would be so lucky. 🙂

  5. Woot for libraries, what a stash! 13 Curses by Michelle Harrison sounds really intriguing.

  6. This is an example of a not genuine comment. Just for you April.

    Great books. Happy reading.

    Check out my IMM!

  7. Also, A Tale Dark and Grimm looks so fabulous! I have had that one for ages, and for some reason I still haven’t read it. 13 Treasures looks great as well. Enjoy all your books 🙂

  8. I’ve only heard of one of the books, 13 Curses. Now I’ll have to look into the others! I’ve only checked out three this week, but they’re big ones!
I’m glad to see “library people” getting together, libraries are wonderful, free services that no one seems to take advantage of!
    Enjoy!

  9. Oh how I love weeks when I get tons of good books from my library. It seems like your library has a pretty awesome selection too. I religiously use my library’s hold system and I get super excited when everything comes in at once, but then overwhelmed that I only have a few weeks to make my way through the stack. I haven’t heard of many of these books, but I’m looking forward to your reviews. Have a great week! 🙂

  10. I wish my library was this helpful! I don’t think they ever even get the new/popular releases and if they do, it is only one copy which means the waiting list can get a bit looooong. I mostly end up buying what I want to read – lol. On the other hand, I don’t recognize many of the titiles in your stash . . . maybe I am not as up to date as I would like 🙂

  11. I really need to use my library more. I am starting to feel like a book hoarder. I always want to buy them instead of just getting them from the library to read. I can not wait to see your thoughts on these. My son is about to turn 13 and my daughter is almost 7 so I am always on the look out for good MG recommendations!!

  12. I haven’t heard of any of these. I’m not sure whether to feel ashamed, excited because I found new books, or a little of both!

    Enjoy 😀

  13. Great IMM! You have some amazing books there! I haven’t looked at my YA section of our library. I went to get a card and they entire library is unbelievably small. Hope you enjoy reading them all!

  14. I think I want to steal your library, because it is a hell of a lot better than mine.

I mean, LOOK at all of this middle grade fantasy. Under the Green Hill and Juniper Berry are ones I’ve been lusting after, so I will be anxious to hear about your opinions on them. 🙂 And Akata Witch…the name alone is sweet. You – and your library – have good taste.

    {Insert appropriate IMM link and placeholder phrase here at your earliest convenience.}

  15. What a library HAUL! 🙂 I haven’t read any of those books 🙁 fail on my part. And all of my library holds all seem to come in at once as well…go figure!

  16. I think it’s a conspiracy – my library holds come in all at once too – it makes it hard to spread things out because then I have huge dry runs! Ahhhh!

At least they aren’t all huge, dense books – I have faith in you!

  17. Library loot! All my holds come in at once too – it’s cause the library system only has a van or two to do the interlibrary loans so they get all loaded up. I’m not familiar with a lot of these books, but the Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place books are ADORABLE. They have me laughing so much.

  18. Awesome haul from your library. I love when all the library holds come in at once, though I have now learnt not to request more than I can actually borrow 😮

Thanks for stopping by my blog 🙂

  19. Your library seems to be made of awesome! I wish my library had so many books I actually wanted to read. I hadn’t really heard of most of the books you got before, except for A World Without Heroes, I thought it was a really nice read, not great, but worthwhile. Hope you enjoy!

  20. Li // Yuan says

Oh man, I’m so jealous of you getting Akata Witch! I’ve been meaning to get my hands on that book…

Haha, I saw your comment on the IMM of my new blog and I was wondering if you still remember me? I used to have the blog GAL Novelty under the name Ah Yuan, I’ve recently changed blogs to do the whole fresh start thing. If you don’t remember that’s okay, it’s been a long time, but I just wanted to say it’s good to see that you’re around and blogging, lol.

  21. My siblings really enjoyed BEYONDERS. FIRST DAY ON EARTH sounds pretty good. Happy reading, April!

    Stop by my IMM

  22. We have common reading interests – LOVED A Tale, Dark, and Grimm. Heard Adam speak – and he was awesome!

I’ve been eyeing Aliens on Vacation but wasn’t sure it was worth the effort, so I’ll be interested in seeing what you think.

Enjoy your new reads – Happy Reading!

  23. I SERIOUSLY need to check ou my local library. I went in there a few weeks ago and they had a much better selection than they did a few years ago, but my library is very, very creepy (with weird people) and I don’t like being there hahaha

Hope you finish all those books before you have to return them 🙂

  24. We are First Day on Earth twinkies! What up. I’ve been wanting to read A Tale Dark & Grimm. I hope it’s fantastic! As well as your other reads o’ course.

Actually, I meant to say, “Hi Blogger I love your books it looks like you got great one and come by visit my blog please kthx bai LoL”

  25. WOAH. YOU Got some really good books and some of these I have never have heard of.

  26. You have a huuuge haul this week! Super nice! I hope you get to enjoy them =)

  27. Im always tempted to loot my library whenever I stop by to pick up a book for class, but I’ve been good: I RESISTED!!! Good luck with your library pile. 🙂

  28. Fab set! Aliens on Vacation sounds very cute. And I love Margaret Peterson Haddix’s books.
