Ya’ll I am excited beyond words about the Dewey 24 Hour Readathon. I am excited to get to books I’ve had on my TBR but haven’t found the opportunity to read, yet. Most of all excited to have a guilt free day of reading books that are specifically what I want to read!
Also, I’ve decided to vlog my progress to change things up a bit.
Here’s my pile of Dewey Readathon books:
I am also significantly excited about the Clear Away The Clutter Readathon hosted by Kate at the Neverending Shelf. The Clear Away The Clutter ‘Thon runs for this whole week! I will be reading my ARCs and review books, hopefully wittling down the pile to zero. I will be donating a couple of those books. I don’t know if you guys know this about me or not, but I don’t really care to keep ARCs on my shelves. I like the look of finished books and that’s it. When I am done, I’m not quite sure what to do with the ARCs. I know contests tend to be a pain to host, so what do you all think of doing a books for grabs sort of thing? Or should I just donate them to the library or a women’s shelter or something?
Anyways here is my Clear Away The Clutter Pile:
I’m almost done with Brightly Woven and will ship it out tomorrow, so hurrah for that bit of clutter being cleared!
So what do you all have planned for this week of plentiful reading?

Nice piles!
I took off from work tomorrow just to read! You can blame Kate 🙂
I know how you feel about ARCs…if I love the book – I buy it. If I didn't love the book – I like to pass on the ARC to someone else. I've traded a few with other bloggers and I've had a few contests. I've never posted an ARC on BookMooch but I've gotten a few from other members. I've also thought about seeing if any of the blog tours I'm signed up with want any…but I have a few old ones.
Wow – I didn't really help at all did I? 🙂
I've heard nothing but good about The Last Unicorn, so I look forward to seeing what you think of it! I wish I could participate in readathon this weekend, but I'll be out of town. GOD, my GR is going to be insane!
The idea of a read-a-thon sounds great, but I don't think I'd be able to commit to reading for such a long period of time. How will you deal with sore eyes/boredom, etc?
I wish I could readathon this year, but as I'll be travelling to see a mate I guess it's one of those times when two good things clash. Hope you have a great time (yay the BFG is on your pile, so cute).
I'm so excited for you that you have The Last Unicorn on you list! One of my absolute all-time favourite books.
See you around on Saturday 🙂
I've been meaning to read The Last Unicorn ever since I read that its Patrick Rothfuss' favorite book. Maybe you're review will give me a final push 🙂 I think I own it somewhere anyway.
The BFG was one of my son's favorite books when he was in 4th grade! I love your stack!
Wow, you have a ton of good books to read! I say donate the books to your local school library. They can't add them to circ records but they will know some kids who need them! I have the first part last on my list too! Hopefully we will read it around the same time! Happy Reading!
