This week yielded some interesting finds!
Roses by Leila Mechem
The cover is gorgeous and the ad says it’s similar to the Thornbirds by Colleen McCullough, which I loved!
Friend Is Not A Verb by Daniel Ehrenhaft
I like the concept, and the synopsis mentioned a VH1 marathon and if you know me, you know I am going through VH1 withdrawal due to my lack of cable Also, I do use friend as a verb –damn you facebook!
The Devil’s Paintbox by Victoria McKernan
I love the cover and it mentions the Oregon Trail. And confession: I dominated the Oregon Trail game in elementary school, dysentery ain’t got nothin on this blogger! Also, my oxen never died fording the river, yeah what!
All links will take you to the goodreads.com page for the book mentioned. If you are a publicist or author reading this, I will definitely review your book if I have mentioned it. Shoot me an email by clicking the link on my sidebar!
