Today’s prompt is about your bed time routine, which is kind of perfect for my typing this up as right now it is almost 8 p.m. and I am about to do my own routine as soon as I get done typing and scheduling this post. I am one of those people who usually tries to delay going to bed, just like a little kid. For a long time, I used to marathon TV shows or spend hours on the computer until bed. I’ve definitely change my whole routine though.
First, I do all of my get ready for bed things. I change into my pajamas. I brush my teeth. I take off all of my make up.
Next, I select a book. Most of the time it’s a physical book that I was previously reading. However, if I am reading a particularly good ebook that is SUPER gripping, then I will take my Kindle to bed. Yet, this routine changes when I have a romance book for review. Typically I read those strictly before bed because they calm me down and I know they will be non-threatening reads with a guaranteed happily ever after. Honestly, I cannot take tragedy before catching some ZZZZs.
Finally, after picking the book I pile all the pillows together, set my alarm for the next day and quietly read until Tony insists we get some sleep.
