There is nothing I love more than a challenge and MAKING LISTS. I know many more challenges will start to appear for 2011 and I will want to participate in them. So far, though, two challenges have caught my eye. These challenges hit both ends of the YA spectrum that I quite love.
First, the annual Debut YA Author Challenge hosted by The Story Siren.
Here are my pool of reads. The books I have ARCs of are noted with italics.
1. Across The Universe by Beth Revis
2. The Liar Society by Lisa and Laura Roecker
3. XVI by Julia Karr
4. The Lo-Down by Lo Bosworth (lolololol)
5. Wither by Lauren DeStefano
6. Darkness Becomes Her by Kelly Keaton
7. Ten Miles Past Normal by Frances O’Roark Dowell
8. Choker by Elizabeth Woods
9. Unearthly by Cynthia Hand

15. Â The Trouble With Half A Moon by Danette Vigilante
16. I Am J by Cris Beam
…and I am sure my list will greatly expand.
The Second YA Challenge I will be participating in is the YA of The 80s And 90s Challenge hosted by the Book Vixen. I love to rock old school reading, and these are the books that came out when I was born/growing up.
