Bloggiesta is a blogging marathon with a bit of a Latin flavor, hence the Shakira lyrics (don’t hate, you know she is AWESOME). The 4th Bloggiesta is taking place January 21, 22, and 23.
I plan to spend at least 20 hours improving my blog and getting things DONE.
Here’s what’s on my to-do list:
SEO code at least 30 reviews (upload picture, put image tags, put keywords)
Create template for at least 14 reviews (picture, tags, purchase links, links to other reviews, etc)
Write at least 5 reviews
Finish filming book shelf tours, upload tours and schedule posts
Brainstorm ideas for discussion posts
Update Review Archive
Create a privacy policy/contest policy
Consider whether I really want to take on The Book Blogging Karma Project, and see if there is anyone willing to take the reigns (I have the ideas but not the organizational/time management skills needed to carry it out).
Submit links of challenge-related reviews to challenge sites
….and whatever else may pop up that needs doing.

This is such a great idea. I need to get my blog duties more organized and start being better about planning ahead. Consider me impressed!
Mehh I wanted to do this! But of course this weekend I’m going to be super busy. I’m going to a book signing on Friday and then the boyfriend will be here the rest of the weekend for our 4 year anniversary! Hmm I’m just going to have to be really productive in the morning!
Blogger Karma huh? I like the sound of that!

Wow, you have a lot of plans for this weekend’s Bloggiesta! I still haven’t decided if I should sign up but I probably will so I’ll be pressured to do some work on the blog.

when I was thinking about my bloggiesta list, I remembered our conversation awhile back about somehow highlighting YA books at least 3 years old, do you remember that? We really should try to make that happen (you know…eventually).

Great list April! Good luck this weekend and let me know if there is anything that I can help with.
Great goals! I need to do the whole SEO thing- been putting it off for awhile.
