Stacking The Shelves (74) | November 2014 Book Haul

Lately I am just SO lazy about these hauls, so then the books pile up and then the videos get longer and longer!  Things are starting to look a tiny bit better. I’ve got some vacation time scheduled for this month (I am taking the whole week of Thanksgiving off, although I am on call for three days of that week). I have a lovely pile of books on my TBR that I am excited to get through. I have made a serious commitment to my health and have printed off the Blogilates November calendar and decided to pick up the 8 week meal plan and purchase the fitness journal, so I will be taking part in the Blogilates 8 Week Hot Body Challenge, because I want to learn to eat better — right now all I eat is pizza and sandwiches and pasta. I also think that making a serious commitment to working out will decrease my stress level. Pair that with reading ALL THE BOOKS, then this month should really be a snap, regardless of the events that happen.

For Review:

Maid Of Deception by Jennifer McGowan (Vine) – I just finished reading this book last night and I totally loved it. This series is so underrated, I feel like it deserves the same amount of love that Grave Mercy gets.

Daisy To The Rescue by Jeff Campbell (Blog Tour) – Check out yesterday’s review of this book! I really liked it and thought it was something different. You should enter my contest for a copy for either yourself or to stuff in your favorite animal lover’s stocking.

What Waits In The Woods by Kieran Scott (Unsolicited Review Copy) -I really love Kieran Scott’s pacing and how action oriented her writing is, but honestly I never like her endings. SOOOO, I am conflicted but will likely totally read this!

Tomboy: A Graphic Memoir by Liz Prince (Blog Tour) – I am so excited to read this book this week. I love graphic novel memoirs and am looking forward to another one. Be sure to pop by my review for your chance to win a copy of this book.

Temple Boys by Jamie Buxton (Requested Review Copy) – So, this is a retelling of the story of Jesus from the point of view of a teenage boy. It sounds really, really good. I really enjoyed Lamb by Christopher Moore, so I think that maybe I will enjoy this along those same lines.

Bad Girls by Jane Yolen and Heidi Stemple (Secret Project) – The subject matter is interesting, but the audiobook is annoying.

Christmas At Twilight by Lori Wilde (Vine) – I am currently reading this book and it’s such a relaxing with a bottle of wine sort of read, so pretty much that means I love it.

Save Me by Jenny Elliott (Requested Review Copy) – I LOVE THE SWOON READS IMPRINT is all.

Double Vision: The Alias Men by FT Bradley (Unsolicited Review Copy) – PASS.

Zombie Chasers #6: Zombies Of The Caribbean by John Kloepfer (Unsolicited Review Copy) – While this sounds neat, I will be passing this one on.

Zombie Chasers #5: Nothing Left To Ooze by John Kloepfer (Unsolicited Review Copy) – Same.

Pathfinder: Todhunter Moon by Angie Sage (Unsolicited Review Copy) – The spelling of MAGYK or whatever drives me up the wall, but otherwise, this book sounds pretty good.

I’ll Meet You There by Heather Demetrios (Requested Review Copy) – I will be reading this book this month because I AM NO LONGER DENYING MYSELF BOOKS I CAN’T WAIT TO READ.

The Christmas Wedding Ring by Susan Mallory (Vine) – Christmas on the brain, don’t care. Also, this book sparkles. Also the endpapers are gorgeous!

The Tiger Queens by Stephanie Thornton (Blog Tour) – Genghis Khan, that’s what’s up.

Death Marked by Leah Cypress (Unsolicited Review Copy) – Sequel to that other Death book, which I definitely need to read like right now.

A Wicked Thing by Rhiannon Thomas (Unsolicited Review Copy) – Perfect cover is perfect. Also? I am excited to read this retelling of Sleeping Beauty.

Unleashed by Sophie Jordan (Unsolicited Review Copy) – Sequel to Uninvited, which I definitely need to read like yesterday.

Quake by Patrick Carman (Unsolicited Review Copy) – And another trilogy I ought to binge read.

No Parking At The End Times by Bryan Bliss (Unsolicited Review Copy) – The writing is compared to Sara Zarr, David Levithan and Rainbow Rowell, therefore it is on my READ IMMEDIATELY list.

The Distance Between Lost And Found by Kathryn Holmes (Unsolicited Review Copy) – The back blurb says this is a cross between Speak and Hatchet so pretty much I am excited and feel nostalgic.

Purchased:

Audiobook of Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater – YESSSSSSSSSSSS.
