Stacking The Shelves (62) & (63) | Book Haul

Friends, this is a two for one book haul post! You see, this post contains what should have been my book haul last weekend and my book haul for THIS weekend. Both are equally totally awesome. One is way shorter than the other, though. The week before last, was a week of few books and I’m actually okay with that. It gives me the chance to catch up on my pile. Now, this week’s haul is kind of big, but I am excited about every single book in a way. Also! Last weekend was really busy and involved a lot of leaving the house and interacting with other humans. This weekend, though, is all about the books. Last night I finished Love And Other Foreign Words by Erin McCahan and today I’m making my way through Wildthorn by Jane Eagland and I’ve got less than 150 pages left. It’s a great read. What are you reading? Do you like it? Also! Link me your haul, I want to check it out!

Stacking The Shelves (62) Books:

For Review:

Trial By Fire by Josephine Angelini (Requested Review Copy) – As soon as I saw this in the Macmillan catalog, I went all grabby hands and then I got jealous of everyone who was receiving it before me and then my copy came and now all is right with the world and I will be reading this one before September.

Evidence Of Things Not Seen by Lindsey Lane (Requested Review Copy) – This book sounds so smart and interesting. Physics plays a major role.

Conversion by Katherine Howe (Vine) – I grabbed this one from Vine because it looked like a literary YA book and I like YA that is also literary from time to time. Also, Salem setting for the win!

Take Me On by Katie McGarry (Vine) – No explanation necessary, but um, book shimmy for a surprise finished copy! I love when that happens!

Stacking The Shelves (63) Books:

For Review:

Jackaby by William Ritter (Accepted Review Copy) – This came in my mail today and I was super excited. It’s a historical fiction that’s described as a mix between Doctor Who and Sherlock. Music to my ears.

William Shakespeare’s The Jedi Doth Return by Ian Doescher (Blog Tour) – Plans are to read and watch the trilogy in conjunction. I’ve got a bottle of wine already to go for this momentous event.

The Fourth Wish by Lindsay Ribar (Unsolicited Review Copy) – This is the summer for The Art Of Wishing and for The Fourth Wish. I cannot wait!

Don’t You Forget About Me by Kate Karyus Quinn (Unsolicited Review Copy) – Gorgeous cover. Also? This sounds deliciously scary.

The Vanishing Season by Jodi Lynn Anderson (Unsolicited Review Copy) – I am expecting my heart to be ripped out.

The Half Life Of Molly Pierce by Katrina Leno (Unsolicited Review Copy) – I’ve already read and scheduled a review for this. I thought it was alright.

Find Me Where The Water Ends by Rachel Carter (Unsolicited Review Copy) -I am going to pass this onto co-blogger Allison! Watch for her review AT SOME POINT.

Remember Me by Romily Bernard (Unsolicited Review Copy) – I loved Find Me, so I am pretty pumped for this sequel. Wick’s a great character.

Exquisite Captive by Heather Demetrios (Unsolicited Review Copy) – GOODNESS YES YES YES. So excited for this book.

Messenger Of Fear by Michael Grant (Unsolicited Review Copy) – Watch the video for a fun story about how I embarrassed myself in front of Michael Grant. Also, I am going to read the shit out of this book.

Dead Zone by Robison Wells (Unsolicited Review Copy) – Tis the summer for me to read Blackout.

In A Handful Of Dust by Mindy McGinnis (Unsolicited Review Copy) – I just recently read Not A Drop To Drink, and so with that fresh in my mind, I can’t wait to read the companion book.

Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch (Unsolicited Review Copy) – So so so so so excited. Like, this better fill the void left from the end of His Fair Assassin.

Kiss Kill Vanish by Jessica Martinez (Unsolicited Review Copy) – I think that this book is going to be really, really good. My hopes are obnoxiously high.

Clariel by Garth Nix (Unsolicited Review Copy) – Excuse me, I am just going to die of fangirl excitement over here. K, bye!

Even In Paradise by Chelsey Philpot (Unsolicited Review Copy) – The Great Gatsby + Looking For Alaska? HELLO SO EXCITED. Also, gorgeous cover.

The Perfectionists by Sara Shepard (Unsolicited Review Copy) – I am hoping this is as twisty and turny as Pretty Little Liars.

The Invisible by Amelia Kahaney (Unsolicited Review Copy) – I totally need to get started with The Brokenhearted and then read this book like right now.

Stray by Elissa Sussman (Unsolicited Review Copy) – The back cover is EVERYTHING I want in a book. I am going to dive into this book like immediately.
