Stacking The Shelves (52)

Hey friends! It’s time for another book haul and OMG, I am not even sure where to begin in talking to you all about my weekend, but suffice to say there were not very many dull moments. First off, our hot water heater had a leak from the bottom so I had to deal with getting it replaced for the majority of Saturday AND THEN I had to dress up as Snow White for the father daughter dance because it was princess themed and they wanted characters to greet the girls. Actually, that was kind of really awesome and fun. Today has been pretty relaxing, I’ve spent my day reading and making vlogs and taking a nice hot long shower, now that we have hot water again. I also just want to sidebar and say that I really love wearing false eyelashes, they make me look good hahahaha. ANYWAYS! Onto the books!

For Review:

Salvage by Alexandra Duncan (Unsolicited Review Copy) – I love finished copies and this hardcover has me so excited. It’s got blurbs from some of my favorite authors, thus I am so ready to read it!

Recklessly Royal by Nichole Chase (Unsolicited Review Copy) – I think this is supposed to be The Princess Diaries for grown-ups, either way, I am PUMPED UP.

Nash by Jay Crownover (Unsolicited Review Copy) – EXCUSE MY SCREAMING AND LOUD FANGIRLING. You guys, I AM SOOOOOO EXCITED TO HAVE THE LATEST MARKED MEN BOOK IN MY HANDS. Seriously, it amazes me how much I like these books.

Purchased:

Handbook For Dragon Slayers by Merrie Haskell – I bought this because it was the Kindle Daily Deal and I have heard nothing but positive things about Haskell so I think I may do a marathon where I read all her books.

Fixed On You trilogy by Laurelin Paige – My friend Shanyn recommends these books and they are getting some positive press and apparently are very adult-themed which LOL I am okay with. Also, like Macklemore says, it was only 99 cents.

  4. Recklessly Royal was a cute read and I liked the first in the series as well. And I started the Marked Men series and enjoyed Rule…hope to get to the others soon.

  5. April, you were SO adorable as Snow White! It really suited you. And it was fun to see you do another Stacking the Shelves video. I meant to do one this week but…. life got in the way. I think, of your haul, Handbook for Dragon Slayers is the one I’m most interested in reading!

  6. I love your vlogs, April. I tried to read the first Marked Men book (I think it is called Rule) but I was having a hard time with it. I’m not sure what my issue was, but I sort of gave it up. But I continue to hear great things, so I feel like I should give it a try again.

I hope you like all your books. Happy reading, of course 🙂

  7. I’m still LOLing over the Mackelmore gif.

  8. Hope this week is less drama filled for you! Yay for receiving Nash! I haven’t started that series yet, but your enthusiasm makes me want to get reading, and in fact I have them all on my kindle waiting. Love that gif, and I’m curious about the Fixed on You trilogy.
    Happy reading!
