Stacking The Shelves (43)

This week was one of the worst weeks I have had in quite a long time. I won’t go into detail but I will say that Monday night was sleepless because of anxiety, and then the rest of the week was spent walking on eggshells. Nothing to do with Tony, FYI. It just was an awful week. I will admit, I’ve never been so excited for it to be the weekend, although I kind of totally failed at Bout Of Books, but I am okay with it. I really am. So! Onto the books and the hope that next week will be more satisfying.

For Review:

STS 43

Stormbringer by Shannon Delany (Unsolicited) – Fun fact, I used to live on the same road as Ms. Delany. Cool right? Anyways, I haven’t read Weather Witch yet so I guess I will need to pick up a copy so I can read both of them. Support local authors, yay!

Plants vs. Zombies: Brain Food by Brandon T. Snider (Unsolicited) – So, this has a cute cover and all, but it’s kind of not my thing. I’ll be donating this to our domestic violence shelter.

Plants vs. Zombies: Plant Your Path by Tracy West (Unsolicited) – Again, this is adorable, but not my thing so I’ll be donating it to a great cause.

What did you get this week?

  1. No new books for me this week but I got Doctor Sleep for Christmas. Looking forward to diving into that soon!

  2. That’s cool about Delaney! I got Stormbringer recently, too and I’m excited to grab a copy of Weather Witch and get started on the series. Sorry to hear you had a stressful week! Yay weekends! 😀

  3. I’m so sorry that you had a really rough week. I’ve felt really anxious about my job for the last 4-5 months and it’s awful. I’ve been off all week from work (which has been amazing) but I’m dreading going back to work tomorrow.

I really, really, really hope you have a better week and that things get better. And there’s always another Bout of Books!

    Also, enjoy your books. 🙂

  4. *huggles*

  5. I hope next week ends up amazing to balance out the suckiness of this week!

  6. How cool is that cover of Stormbringer?! The coolest, is what.

I’m sorry to hear about your shit week last week and I hope that next week makes up for it! Good for you for letting go of the Bout of Books guilt. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

    MUCH LOVE.
