Endlessly Kiersten White Book Review

May contain MINOR spoilers for Paranormalcy trilogy READ AT OWN RISK!!

I feel that the last book in a series is always bittersweet. Sweet, because the loose threads get resolved and most of the time you get some closure. Bitter, because it is the very end of your journey with that character. Y’all, it has been a bleeping pleasure to read about Evie and Lend and the cast of the Paranormalcy trilogy, which is why I am feeling very bittersweet about Endlessly.

Endlessly

All of White’s trilogy comes to a head in Endlessly. Evie finds her purpose and must decide if she is up to the challenge. You see, IPCA is in tatters. The Unseelie Queen is on the rampage. All of the paranormals are getting restless. Evie is supposed to set things to rights although it will involve great sacrifice. Oh? AND? She’s sort of on the planning committee for a formal. Full plates ahead, y’all.

Friends, Evie is one of the most charming paranormal heroines I have had the luck to read about. She is unabashedly feminine, yet also strong. What I love about these books is that there is no devaluing of feminine attributes. You aren’t considered a wuss if you like the color pink or have long hair. Further, I thought we got real character growth from Evie. She struggles with the choice between watching out for herself and saving everyone. It sounds kind of easy, but you guys, if my neck was on the line, I’d be real hesitant too. I just love reading about Evie.

I also want to mention the romance in Endlessly. I think it’s rather atypical of it’s genre in that there is NO triangle in this book. I mean, you can try for a triangle, but we all know there’s zero chance for Reth and Evie makes that quite clear. She doesn’t dangle him along on a thread which I really respect. Lend, Evie’s boyfriend, is incredibly respectful of her. He’s not the typical bad boy alpha type, but sweet and caring. Authors, THIS IS A WONDERFUL THING!

Y’all, I will definitely miss looking forward to a new adventure with Evie, Lend and Reth. I will miss reading secondhand accounts of Easton Heights and wishing Arianna would do my hair. However, I feel confident in White’s ability as a writer to not be too broken up about Endlessly being the very end. I found myself very satisfied with the end of this trilogy. Truly, the best is yet to come from Kiersten White. And yeah, okay, that was THE cheesiest end of a review I’ve ever written.

  1. I really loved this book! I am so excited to see what Kiersten White will do next 🙂

  2. I love this trilogy so much! It will definitely be bittersweet to see it come to an end. I’m going to miss all the bleeping and Easton Heights gushing too.

  3. I AM SO EXCITED FOR ENDLESSLY. Cause here’s the deal. I LOVED Paranormalcy, but Supernaturally was just okay for me, but I have a feeling, based on your review, that Endlessly is going to be freaking awesome. I’m going to the store this week for sure!

  4. I’m so happy you thought the book was awesome.
I’m impatiently waiting fo my copy to arrive (though it might take a month 😛 ) and I’m just so excited, and happy to hear that the ending lives up to the story.

And I’m with you that Lend is wonderful. He’s sweet, caring and patient with Evie and loves that she gets excited about the most random things.

  5. I meant to comment on this review back when you first posted, but this summer is seriously getting in the way of my commenting time. 🙁 I loved both Paranormalcy and Supernaturally. I’m very excited to read this one. Not sure when I’ll get to it though. :o/

So glad you loved it! I’m always worried to finish a series or trilogy. the ending could ruin the whole thing for me. I’m not nervous now though. And as for your corny review ending. I completely agree, not that it’s corny, but that the best is yet to come.

P.S. Hope you’re having an awesome summer! 🙂
