Oblong Books and Music will be hosting – excuse me while I hyperventilate – HOLLY BLACK, CASSANDRA CLARE and SARAH REES BRENNAN. Holy crap you guys I am going to explode from excitement. I highly suggest you all make the road trip for this event. It will be totally worth it. ALSO let me tell you, Oblong Books is one of those stores that is not snooty towards adult YA fans. They are fantastic. I will definitely be at this event as well. RSVP is required and you can find out more about the event by clicking here.

ALL SUMMER LONG:

Raise your hand if you like audiobooks. Raise your hand if you like YA. Raise your hand if you like free YA audiobooks. I bet your hand is kind of tired of being raised. All summer long SYNC is giving away two free downloadable audiobooks a week. I already clicked as fast as I could to get this week’s offerings – The Eleventh Plague and The Grapes of Wrath. You can click here for more details.

The following two tabs change content below.
April is in her 30s and created Good Books And Good Wine. She works for a non-profit. April always has a book on hand. In her free time she can be found binge watching The Office with her husband and toddler, spending way too much time on Pinterest or exploring her neighborhood.

  1. So now I’m wishing I lived in New York…

  2. I took your advice literally! I set reminders in my phones calendar to remind me when there are new audio book downloads available! Thanks for sharing!

  3. Ohhh that audiobook download thing is awesome. Thanks for the heads up!

  4. Of course they wait to do this until after I leave the Ithaca area. Grr.

  5. Wish I lived closer so I could attend! Sounds fun!

  6. “I bet your hand is kind of tired of being raised.”
I heart you, April. And I’m so excited for SYNC! I’m going to be unplugged for part of the summer, but I’m sure I can bully my brother into getting the books I’m missing for me. (It’s Daughter of Smoke and Bone!!!!)

Wish I had a few hours (and you know, a car. A driver’s license would help) to go up state! I’ve just got to hope that some awesome stops by in the rest of New York in the coming weeks…
    Enjoy the events!
