In My Mailbox (64)

In My Mailbox is hosted by my friend Kristi. She has a blog, you may have heard of it. The Story Siren? The gist of this meme is that you post about the books you obtained during the week and then you go and check out and drool over the books other people received. It’s super fun, y’all.

For Review:

Thumped by Megan McCafferty (unsolicited finished copy) – SO, I have an ARC of this, but I was still WICKED EXCITED over getting a surprise finished copy in the mail. I am going to try to read Thumped this week!

Batman: Super-Villains Strike by Michael Teitelbaum (unsolicited) -OMG YOU GUYS a Batman Choose Your Own Adventure? YES PLEASE. I am going to read this one and review it very soon so I can ship it off to my Batman-loving friend, Lisa.

Wishful Thinking by Gabi Stevens (unsolicited) – So, this book is the third in a series I haven’t read. I may have to check the first two books out from the library or something.

Waiting by Carol Lynch Williams (unsolicited) – Waiting came with a handwritten note from the publicist which is a gesture I really appreciate. I actually read Waiting during the 24 Hour Readathon. Watch out for my review.

Life Happens Next by Terry Trueman (unsolicited) – Well, this is the sequel to Stuck In Neutral which I have not read yet, BUT my library has it and says it is only 114 pages, so reading the first book and the sequel is definitely something I can fit into my busy schedule.

Don’t Turn Around by Michelle Gagnon (unsolicited) – Dude, YA debut and hackers? COUNT ME IN!

Over You by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus (unsolicited) – I love the cover and YAY CONTEMPORARY!

Two Or Three Things I Forgot To Tell You by Joyce Carol Oates (unsolicited) – I quite like JCO and am looking forward to reading this one!

The Book Of Blood And Shadow by Robin Wasserman (unsolicited) – AHHHH nothing thrills me more than a finished copy of a book I loved. I’ve already read and reviewed this book.

Wanted by Heidi Ayarbe (unsolicited) – Okay, so a book about a 17 year old bookie? Dude I love gambling and am PUMPED to read this.

Defiance by CJ Redwine (unsolicited) – I might have done a little dance and kind of screamed.

The Lost Girl by Sangu Mandanna (unsolicited) – I have no clue what this is about, but that cover is LEGIT.

Starling by Lesley Livingston (unsolicited) -Fencing and an epic? I am totally sold on the back cover copy.

Erasing Time by CJ Hill (unsolicited) – This one sounds kind of like Rip Van Winkle, only about teenagers. I am down.

Gifted by Lisa The Nerd:

Between Two Ends by David Ward – I LOVE MIDDLE GRADE FOREVA!

Oppression by  Jessica Therrien – Rockin’ cover.

Blood Born by Jamie Manning – Okay, the cover for this one is awful, but the summary sounded interesting.
