  21. Okay let’s see, Blankets is freaking awesome. The Book of Blood and Shadow also dense and very Angels and Demons like. Dust Girl – let’s just say that it gets better in the latter half after you get used to the main character, Don’t You Wish is also really good and I am totally jealous that you were approved for Seraphina. I’ve heard really good things about it. Have fun reading, woman.

  22. I just requested Okay for Now from the library the other day. I can’t wait to read it! I’m also waiting for TFiOS. I have Looking for Alaska at home right now so I guess I’ll be reading my first John Green soon. Jealous of your netgalley haul!

  23. The Fault in our Stars <3. I read it this week and loved it. I'm waiting for my audiobook from DFTBA, the one narrated by John Green, to arrive. Hope you enjoy it!

  24. I bought The Other Guy’s Bride and just finished reading it Friday. I got Ripper this week from NetGalley too and hope to start it soon. I want to read Pure. It sounds so good. I am curious about Born Wicked and The Fault is In Our Stars too. I can’t wait to read your reviews!

  25. You’ve joined the Survival Kit library club- yay! My copy is almost due. So many good NG titles! Seraphina looks fantastic. I’ve heard TFIOS audio is great. Can’t wait for your review. I ordered the John Green narrated version, which should be interesting.
    Have a great week, April!

  26. OMG YOU GOT BLANKETS.

Blankets is the first graphic novel I’ve ever read (completely). I tried reading the first volume of Scott Pilgrim and got through the first half but there’s kind of a long story with why I stopped, but I *did* like what I read before I quit.

But Blankets. Oh man, that book ripped my heart right out, threw it against a wall, stomped all over it, then smiled an evil grin. I feel like it’s one of those books that people will either connect with or not. I certainly did. I am so so glad it was my first illustrated novel that I finished, though. I think there are a lot of misconceptions on what graphic novels are, and how good (or bad) they can be.

But seriously, you hit the IMM lottery with all of these books!

  27. I’m pretty sure Blankets was my first ever graphic novel. I read it a couple of years ago, but I remember really liking it! Here’s hoping you enjoy it as well!

P.S. You got Born Wicked?!?!? Cue jealous face. Lol.

  28. Wow, you had an awesome week. πŸ™‚ I’ve never heard of the Harry Potter book you go, but I will have to look into it. πŸ˜› Hope you enjoy all these great books.

  29. Awesome books this week. I’m almost finished with the audio of The Fault in Our Stars. SO good! πŸ™‚

  30. I am so envious that you got a review copy of the TFIOS audiobook. I want to listen to that so bad. I just read the entire book yesterday and it was the most beautiful book I’ve ever read in my life. I’ve never declared having a favorite book in all my 32 years on this planet, but now I have: The Fault in Our stars. I want to hug John Green.

  31. gr8 haul
    hope u enjoy

  32. Raw Blue looks like it’ll be a good book i hope you enjoy it! Come check out my IMM!

  33. I really, really likes Born Wicked! Your list also reminded me that I need to read Dust Girl….

  34. I’m so excited for Born Wicked! =D Hope you enjoy!!

  35. Looking forward to seeing what you think of Raw Blue and And Both Were Young! Oh and The Fault in Our Stars, of course. I really should finish that book soon. I wasn’t able to do much reading this weekend because I started the first season of Downton Abbey.

  36. You’ve got a fantastic haul of books this week. I’m looking forward to your thoughts on The Book Of Blood And Shadow by Robin Wasserman. Seeing your lists of audiobooks makes me want to become a more faithful listener of them. I don’t know why I don’t listen to them more. Enjoy your goodies!!

  37. Pure by Julianna Baggott is unbelievable for post-apocalyptic. It’s absolutely amazing what this author has done with this genre. I think you’ll love it. The world she created is STUNNING. I know you love world-building as much as I do, so I feel quite certain you’ll like it.

  38. I bought Born to Run last year when I was on a running kick, but you reminded me I didn’t finish it. Maybe I’ll find some enthusiasm like you’ve got to do the C25K. (awesome job, btw!)

I cannot wait to read the Survival Kit. Definitely anxious to get my hands on it. I really wish my local libraries were better about acquiring new releases. Hmm.

  39. Ooh that Harry Potter book sounds like fun! And cute…
You’ve got a lot of reading to do – enjoy!

  40. HP Party Book?!?!? *goes to buy immediately*

  41. WOW! Fantastic book week! I don’t even know where to start so I’m just going to wish you happy reading! You’ve got a plethora of great books.

  42. Raw Blue! Lots and lots of sexytimes in that one my friend. I’d read that first:)

  43. You could kill with the All Unquiet Things audiobook. I hope you enjoy it!
