  1. Yay Bet Me! Can’t wait to see what you think. As for The Next Best Thing…its my least favorite of hers, but maybe its a good one to start with. If you DO like it a lot you know you’ll sure as heck love the rest of them!

Also excited to see what you think about the ending of Mistborn, definitely wasn’t what I expected but it was awesome.

I had no idea you hadn’t read The Sky is Everywhere! I would have been constantly bothering you about it. It is probably in my Top 5 Favorites of All Time.

And, not to be a broken record, but I’m excited for you to read Fire too! I loved it even more than Graceling.

  2. Audition was really fantastic. Loved it!

  3. An Abundance of Katherines is actually my favorite John Green novel. hope you love it! 🙂

  4. I really need to read I Am the Messenger. I adored The Book Thief so much that I had intended to get IATM and read it right away, but for whatever reason that didn’t happen.
Same with Abundance of Katherines. I read/loved Looking for Alaska and then bought everything else Green wrote on the strength of that, but I haven’t read any of them yet. I feel like a failure. But there’s just so much shiny!
I’ll be keeping an eye out for your review of The Sky is Everywhere (assuming you review it); I’m debating whether I want to get it or not…
    Great vlog!

    • I actually just got the audio version of The Book Thief to re-read because I adored it so much.

Story of my life, when it comes to loving one book by an author then buying their whole backlist and not devouring it just yet.

  5. LOVE THIS. also, i’m interested to hear what you think of Bloody Jack. i’ve heard good things, but i just could not get into it.

  6. oh and also, GAME OF THRONESSSSSSSSSSS

  7. I really want to read Bet Me as well, but because it was also recommended at Smart Bitches Trashy Books. I don’t really read contemporary romances but I’m willing to give it a shot.

Bloody Jack sounds really awesome. I’ve been wanting to read that one as well but I haven’t had a chance to pick up a copy yet. I didn’t know that the audiobooks were awesome, but I really can’t listen to audiobooks and concentrate on what’s going on.

I hope you like Fire! I actually loved it even more than Graceling!

I wish I can do Read Your Own Books Month but all my ARCs are for books releasing this month! 🙁

    • I read all of my September ARCs in August, so I guess I really lucked out as far as scheduling for RYOB.

And I’m super psyched for Bloody Jack. I actually got a real life person recommendation for Bloody Jack.

  8. Awesome TBR pile. You have some great looking books to read.
    Here is my TBR Pile

  9. I loved Fire as much/probably even more than Graceling. And I too am super excited for Bitterblue, who may be my favorite character in the Seven Kingdoms…talk about a wonderfully written and developed character…. Also, I’m super excited to see my favorite, John Green, up there. He’s just so great, and if you haven’t gotten to Paper Towns, that one is my favorite of his. I know you’ll eventually get to it, but it is just superb…so many great and witty one-liners but also smart and moving life lessons thrown in there….I’ve never been able to plan out a month of what I’m going to read like this. I kind of admire that type of organization. Aside from what I have scheduled, I’m totally a free spirit. I like to have a bunch of choices, and I pull off the shelf whatever strikes me at the time, and it’s typically the right choice. If I try to schedule too much ahead of time, I end up hating it. And if I hate reading, I’M DOING IT WRONG. 🙂 Excited to read your thoughts on all of these, as always.

    • See, I love having a list to cross things off of. 🙂

FIRE is going to rock. I loved Graceling so hard and if it’s better, I’m totally down.

And yay yay yay for witty one liners. I have Paper Towns but haven’t read it yet.

  10. Your pile is infinitely more interesting than mine.

  11. Yay for Bet Me, Sabriel and Fire! Those three are in my list of favorites. Can’t wait to see what you think of them. 🙂 Really enjoyed reading The Sky is Everywhere as well.
