In My Mailbox was started by Kristi at the Story Siren. It’s Monday What Are You Reading is run by Sheila at One Person’s Journey Through A World Of Books.

For Review:

Firelight by Sophie Jordan (finished copy!)

The Desires of The Dead by Kimberly Derting (unexpected but appreciated)

The Scorch Trials by James Dashner

Starcrossed by Elizabeth C. Bunce (finished copy!)

Thanks Harper Teen, Random House, and Scholastic. You rock so hard.

Bought:

The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart

Tender Morsels by Margo Lanagan

Same Difference by Siobhan Vivian

The Prophecy by Hilari Bell

What I Saw And How I Lied by Judy Blundell

The Princess And The Hound by Mette Ivie Harrison

The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima

No More Dead Dogs by Gordon Korman

Whale Talk by Chris Crutcher

A Morbid Taste For Bones by Ellis Peters

The Idiot’s Guide To Organizing Your Life by Georgenne Lockwood (Because my life is a joke and I should probably organize it)

I’ve kind of been failing at reading lately. However, in my defense, I’ve been working crazy hours, taking a class for college AND a class for work. Sigh.

WHAT I READ Over the last two weeks:

Cate of The Lost Colony by Lisa M. Klein

Fallout by Ellen Hopkins

The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff

I Am Currently Reading:

Dead Beautiful by Yvonne Woon

Zombies vs. Unicorns edited by Holly Black and Justine Larbaleister

I Plan To Read:

Secondhand Charm by Julie Barry

The Absolutely True Diary of A Part Time Indian by Sherman Alexie (for Banned Books Week)

Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness (I still have got to write my review of The Ask And The Answer – what a complicated book!)

  5. Awesome books this week! I love the cover for Firelight 🙂 I need to buy it, but UGH there are so many good books out right now.

  6. Looks like you got some great books! I always end up with a ton of books when I go to library sales. I agree that $2 books are just too good to pass up. I’m a new follower and here is my mailbox.

  7. Hi,
I’m a first time visitor to your blog, but when I saw the haul that you’ve listed, I had to listen to your vlog! I’ll be back to look for some of the reviews of the books that you mentioned.

    Happy Reading!

  8. OK drop everything else you are reading and read (in order)

    1. Whale Talk by Chris Crutcher (you don’t even know how excited I am that you got this book. You are going to love it)

    2. The Disreptuable History of Frankie Landau-Banks (Awesome book! Frankie is so cool. Feminist and cool. And she makes up words. Thus she is awesomesauce).

Oh and I guess Firelight should be next because everyone raves about it 🙂

I really really want to read the Duff. I need to work on that.

    • I’ve actually already read Firelight, and quite enjoyed it!

I can’t freakin wait to read Whale Talk and Disreputable History. I think they will be on my October reads. Right now though, I am reading Absolutely True Diary Of A Part Time Indian, which I don’t really want to drop 🙁

  9. Well you may not be reading but you are buying some wonderful books! :0 They look good! Enjoy!
