Good Books & Good Wine Update

I noticed that Kate at the Neverending Shelf combined the In My Mailbox meme and the It’s Monday What Are You Reading meme, and in the interest of cutting down on memes/clutter, I’m going to follow suite and do the same. I don’t have a nifty title like the shelf report, BUT think of this as more meat, less filler.

In My Mailbox is hosted by The Story Siren. New Crayons highlights the PoC books we get during the week and is hosted by Color Online. It’s Monday What Are You Reading is hosted by One Person’s Journey Through A World of Books

This week in books:

For Review:
Grease Town  by Ann Towell – New Crayon
I’ll Mature When I’m Dead by Dave Barry

Contest Win:
The Dead Tossed Wavess by Carrie Ryan (ARC from RandomBuzzers)

The Arrival by Shaun Tan
The Maze Runner by James Dashner
Peace, Locomotion by Jacquline Woodson – New Crayon

Last Week I Read:
Sugar by Bernice L. McFadden – review here

I can't wait to see your review of V for Vendetta! I loved that book (the movie was pretty awesome too).

  2. Dead tossed waves looks like a good interesting book!! Heard a lot of good things about it. Waiting for your review on it. Hope you enjoy reading all those books!!!!

  3. I really want to read The Maze Runner! Before I Fall and Rampant are two of my favorite books! Enjoy 🙂

  4. I like combination stuff. I combine the mailbox memes, the friday finds, and library loot into one weekly journal attached to my Sunday Salon post. It's tidier that way!

Love your shelves and LOVE your Police shirt 🙂

  6. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on The Arrival 🙂

(Also, *I* don't know how "Nymeth" is pronounced either, lol. It's basically a made up screen name, though, so any pronunciation is correct :P)

  7. This combined-memes thing is good. Great vlog too.

I'm interested to hear what you think of Peace, Locomotion since I really loved Locomotion itself.
