Top Book Bloggers of 2009

Maintaining a quality, consistently updated blog is a rigorous task. You have to write honest reviews, comment on other blogs, oh and don’t forget actually reading the books you have been sent for review. Without a doubt, the following bloggers deserve recognition for being among my can’t miss blogs of 2009.

You probably have all seen this coming from a mile away, but The Story Siren is definitely a can’t miss blog. Kristi is a real class act, not only does she have helpful posts about blogging and reviewing, but she has fabulous reviews. She has a magnificent personality as well, I enjoy chatting with her on twitter and the occasional chatzy, to be honest, I couldn’t believe how kind she was for such a famous blogger. Go check her blog out if you haven’t already.
I don’t think I can gush enough about Donna at Bites. Her blog is full of 80s and horror and YA and throw in a dash of in-your-face. I love the awesomeness her blog exudes. I  personally get excited whenever she posts something new, because I know I will laugh, agree, go all nostalgic, or feel some sort of emotion because of her post.
Newer to the blogging scene is Dani at Opinionated? Me? Dani’s reviews often leave me chuckling. She’s a high schooler, so she’s definitely an authentic teen reader voice. I find her blog to be incredibly intelligent, her posts to be on point. She gives me hope for the next generation of teenagers. I suggest visiting her blog often.
While I’m on the topic of new blogs, let’s talk about the Kirks at Teens Read And Write. I may not always agree with everything they write, but damn do they have a way of reviewing. It’s obvious a lot of thought and hard work goes into their reviews. Their reviews are more than just a synopsis, but also show great depth of reflection upon what they have just read. They are a wonderful group of reviewers, and definitely a great voice within the blogging community.

A few other blogs I fell in love with this year include:

The following two tabs change content below.
April is in her 30s and created Good Books And Good Wine. She works for a non-profit. April always has a book on hand. In her free time she can be found binge watching The Office with her husband and toddler, spending way too much time on Pinterest or exploring her neighborhood.
