What Are You Reading Monday 8/24/2009

What Are You Reading Mondays are hosted by J. Kaye’s Book Blog! Her blog is pretty neat, so check it out and participate.

I’m feeling pretty pathetic because I did not read as much as I had anticipated, I only read two books.
Last week I read:
Feather Boy by Nicky Singer – review here
Alice I Have Been by Melanie Benjamin – review here
I am currently reading:
Sunshine by Robin McKinley
This week I hope to read:
13 Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson
Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb
The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman

I’ve only listed three books because I have a very busy week coming up. I have a three-day long seminar for teaching (Tuesday-Thursday) and work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. However, I have a few posts scheduled, and will be posting some classic reviews. Please don’t hate me for not commenting on your wonderful blogs, I’ll do my best to catch up when my schedule dies down. I <3>

Assassin's Apprentice is fabulous! I can't count the number of times I've read the series! Hope you enjoy it!

And now for something completely different…I gave you an award! Come stop by my blog, Strange & Random Happenstance to get it!

And The Graveyard Book is awesome, I think Danse Macabre is the best chapter!

  4. I so did take my time in getting here….sorry about that! I usually am not so late. Anyway, you've probably already read 13 Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson. Nona said it was a great one!
