In My Mailbox August 2, 2009

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.

Sadly, this wasn’t my best week for obtaining books. I’m chalking it up to making less mooches, no library book sale, and a conscious decision not to purchase books from BWB and amazon until I’ve used the majority of my book mooch points.

This week my mailbox was home to:

All of these books were mooched.

The Stories of Eva Luna by Isabel Allende – fiction

The Woman Warrior: Memoirs of a Girlhood Among Ghosts by Maxine Hong Kingston – non-fiction/memoir

The End of the Affair by Graham Greene -fiction/classics

O Pioneers! by Willa Cather – fiction/classics

Witch Child by Celia Rees – fiction/YA/historical-fiction

My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult – fiction

  1. Awww, "My Sister's Keeper" is a good book. I haven't seen the movie yet though. I heard it's very different from the book.

    Happy reading!
